This page describes the local storage and network features of Radio Isekai and this website. Updated 25 September 2026.

Your library stays on your device

Radio Isekai stores information needed to organise and play your collection on your device. Depending on the app and the features you use, this includes library metadata, favourites, playlists, bookmarks, captions, preferences and playback progress. Both iOS and desktop store podcast subscriptions and saved episodes locally. Desktop appearance and podcast playback settings are also saved on your device.

These are local app features. Radio Isekai does not provide a cloud account, cross-device library sync or cloud backup service. Your device’s own backup settings may apply to app data.

When the apps connect to the internet

Local audio can be played offline. Features involving online content need a connection:

• On iOS and desktop, podcast feeds are retrieved from the addresses you add. Episodes and artwork may be loaded from the publishers’ hosting services. Saving an episode downloads audio to your device.
• On desktop, importing a supported web address contacts the source and its media hosts. Desktop update checks contact app.radioisekai.com to retrieve release information.
• Remote artwork may be requested when displaying a track in native playback controls.

Those services receive the connection information needed to answer a request, such as an IP address and the requested resource. Their own privacy policies apply. Offline playback of a saved episode does not require downloading that audio again.

This website

The website uses locally served fonts and images. Its page code does not include analytics, advertising scripts, cookies or account forms. The colour and screenshot controls operate within the current page and do not send your choices to a server.

As with other websites, the hosting service receives information needed to serve requests, including an IP address and browser request information. Hosting logs and retention depend on the hosting configuration.

Links and contact

Links to the App Store, download hosting and Buy Me a Coffee take you to external services with their own practices. If you contact the developer by email, your email address and the information you send are used to respond to your message.

Managing your data

Use the app’s available controls to remove saved episodes, subscriptions, playlists or library entries. Keep a separate copy of audio files you want to preserve. Device backup copies are managed through your device or backup provider.
